Christmas Home Tour 2017

Hi there and thanks so much for stopping by to checkout my Christmas home tour for this year.  This year I switched up some of my decor to incorporate some new colors.  It was a fun and bright change.  If you want to check out my music tree from last year you can check out my post here.

This year I went with a 9 foot tree that was a little slimmer than my previous tree.  In addition to some of my tree trimmings from last year I added blues and greens and a few more natural elements (branches, magnolia leaves, and pheasant feathers.)

Tucker has changed quite a bit from last Christmas too!  He is a little over a year old now and he has grown so much.  He has been such an amazing addition to our family and we love him so much.

My nativity made it to a different spot in this little niche area we have right off of our entryway.  Initial plans were to paint the niche black but I didn’t quite get to that.  December is flying by this year!

I love having our bedroom decorated for Christmas!  Its so warm, cozy, and festive when it’s all decked out in red.  This year I didn’t do a lot. I didn’t even put a tree up in our room. I did add a simple lighted garland, a throw, and a plaid pillow that I made from a placemat I bought at TJ Maxx.  It all came together with the perfect amount of Christmas and color in there.

Our family room holiday decor is pretty much all neutral. I didn’t really change too much up this year.  I did add the lighted snowflakes to my gallery wall that I bought at the end of last Christmas season.

You can see the snowflakes a little better in this pic.  I love to add pillows and throws to create a more cozy and warm space.  However, I must say that we really don’t need any warming up here in Florida this year.  It’s been in the low to mid 80’s here lately.  Beautiful weather but not exactly cuddling up with a blanket temps quite yet.

Thanks again to you all for stopping by to check out my Christmas decor. Warmest wishes and Merry Christmas to you and yours.
