A Few Of My Favorite Things #1…

I love new products and old products that are new to me.  So, I thought I would start sharing a reoccurring post on those products that are for the moment, a few of my favorite things.  Here are the products that are my favs for post numero uno.

1.  LipSense- So, I am usually not a lipstick girl.  However, this new lipstick is AMAZING!!!  It comes in 72 different colors and is smudge, smear, and smooch proof….FOR REAL!  No Lipstick on your teeth or anything else for that matter. NONE.  You chose your color or you can mix and match for a more custom blend.  Then choose a gloss (which is required) in gloss, matte, or glitter.  The color lasts me a solid 8 hours with only the need to reapply the gloss throughout the day.  They also sell a remover which I did not purchase.  Mine comes off fine with coconut oil.  The first purchase is a starter kit which includes a lip color of your choice, gloss, and the remover.  It Runs $55 (Don’t have a heart attack or stop reading yet)  I promise it is worth the splurge.  Individual color tubes cost $23-27 and the gloss is $10.  So, while it is a little bit of an investment it stays on all day long.  It looks amazing and you are only applying the color once a day.  So send out a message to your friends on Facebook to see if any of them are distributors so you can try it out.  You can also buy on Amazon and Ebay if your prefer to go that route.  You guys are gonna LOVE this stuff!!!
2. Victoria-If any of you are Downton Abbey Fans from Masterpiece on PBS you are going to love this show!  Season one is currently running on PBS on Sunday Nights.  The series tells the story of Queen Victoria being crowned as a teen and follows her love story in finding her husband Prince Albert.  Her character is witty, sassy, and entertaining throughout the whole show.  She does has some flawed birth control advice so be careful with that, lol.  PBS allows you to watch on their app for free if you don’t have cable.  The newest episode is available the same time it is airing on television.  I believe PBS also allows you to pay $60 donation to be allowed to see all the episodes immediately.  So if you are a binge watcher and have the extra cash, have at it.
3. Volcano Candle-is my favorite scented candle ever.  I love it for spring all the way into summer.  It smells amazing and is scented with the following scents: tropical fruits, sugared oranges, lemons and limes, redolent with lightly exotic mountain greens.  It is soy wax so it burns clean and twice as long.  It has a burning time of about 85 hours.  You can by them at Anthropologie, Sugarboo & Co., and I’ve even seen them on Amazon and Ebay.  They will run you about $28 ( keep in mind they burn twice as long 85 hrs)  You can find them for a little cheaper on Amazon and Ebay.
4. Chipotle App-Ok, y’all, don’t laugh! I love me some Chipotle and it’s nothing new but I just discovered their app?!?!  You can order your food and pay on the app on your phone and it will be waiting for you by the cashier in front of the line in front of the billion other people waiting and ordering their food.  The cashier will hand it to you and you are out of there in less than one minute.  I LOVE this!  Now I have time for Chipotle every night of the week ; ).  I have been doing this on the Starbucks and ChikFilA apps forever.  So Easy!!!
5. Caldrea- Linen Spray in Sea Salt Neroli  This is not a super new product either but it is new to me and I am in love with this scent! Just Yummy!!!!  Seriously, I have searched for a perfume in this exact scent, have bought hand lotion in this scent, and dish detergent.  I might have a problem.  It smells AMAZING!  Subtle but just enough.  I spray this on my bed everyday after I make it.  I also use it on my couches and throw pillows when I clean.  They have other scents available that I have not tried because I feel like I would be cheating.  I mean Sea Salt Neroli and I have something special, a sure and strong bond of sorts.  If you are gonna try the other scents I recommend trying  them before you try this one because if you are like me you are gonna fall in love with Sea Salt Neroli.
